The role of trade policy in stimulating economic growth

The basic content of the research is knowing the nature of the relationship between trade policy and economic growth in Iraq, and to what extent this policy plays its role in stimulating economic growth in the country, as well as analyzing and measuring the relationship between it and economic growth for the period (2003-2020) using the (ARDL) model. That was put forward some proposed solutions to stimulate economic growth in Iraq and according to the results and conclusions of the research, there was a long-term equilibrium relationship between trade policy, and economic growth in Iraq and within the framework of this relationship it was concluded that this policy is associated with a positive relationship with the dependent variable in the short term And it is not effective in the long term because of the rentierism of the Iraqi economy and its almost complete dependence on oil revenues.
