The current study aimed to clarify the theoretical and practical contents and implications of the core capabilities according to the vision of the workers in the Holy Karbala Education Directorate, under study, and to analyze and diagnose their impact in supporting and enhancing organizational agility. In order to achieve this, the core capabilities in their dimensions (organizational learning, technology management, human capital, strategic flexibility) were adopted as an independent variable, while organizational agility in their dimensions (sensing, response speed) were adopted as a dependent variable.
The study was conducted on a sample of (142) individuals working in the Holy Karbala Education Directorate. The size of the research population was (216) and the sample size table method of (Krejci & Morgan, 1970:608) was used to determine the sample size. In light of the above, the study attempted to answer a number of questions that formed the problem of the study, the most prominent of which are the following:
- Clarifying the foundations of the intellectual debate surrounding the concepts of core capabilities and organizational agility with the aim of contributing to reducing the state of overlap that exists within the concepts of the study variables and distinguishing them from other concepts related to their intellectual frameworks.
- Are the core capabilities possessed by the Holy Karbala Education Directorate, the study sample, being applied or invested in a way that contributes to strengthening and enhancing organizational agility?
A hypothetical model was developed that reflects the nature of the relationship between the variables and was explained by a set of main and sub-hypotheses that were tested using some statistical methods for the data collected through the questionnaire form. The data were subjected to descriptive statistical analysis using the weighted arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and response intensity, then advanced statistical analysis to determine correlation and influence relationships. between the independent and dependent variables
