This research explores the phenomenon of morphological transformations in the poetry of Al-Mutanabbi, considering it one of the most prominent stylistic tools that shaped his distinctive poetic language and enriched his literary experience. The study aims to analyze how Al-Mutanabbi employed the morphological potential of the Arabic language—such as diminutives, broken plurals, dual forms, and creative derivation—to achieve various semantic and aesthetic purposes. It also seeks to reveal the connection between these transformations and the rhythmic structure of his verse, in addition to their role in intensifying meaning and expanding its symbolic and philosophical dimensions.
The research adopts analytical and stylistic approaches to examine selected poems by Al-Mutanabbi, highlighting the transformative power of morphology in embodying his philosophical vision and constructing vibrant poetic imagery.
