The wars that have passed on Iraq have left thousands of square kilometers of land contaminated with tons of mines and thousands of unexploded ordnance, represented by regular fields and others randomly scattered that cast a shadow over the environment of Iraq and its inhabitants. The research included a methodology that fits the topic through three investigations. And the exploded bombs and the aim of their cultivation, and the second topic is the most important environmental impacts resulting from the explosion of mines or exploded bombs, identifying the most important obstacles to their removal methods in Iraq. Third, the spatial distribution of mines and bombs fired in the governorates of Iraq using the GIS program, and then conclusions and recommendations.
