Lactobacillus plantarum:Biopreservative prevent cheese contamination, inhibit Bacillus cereus growth
Abstract
concentrations from CFSs ofLactobacillus plantarum and standard concentration to Calcium propionate were taken to study their inhibite activity against pathogenic bacteria Bacillus cereus .MIC,MBC assay was studied to choose the inhibited concentration used in colony counter method for B. cereus in cheeseand compared with calcium propionate concentration .Results in our study refered to high activity for all these concentrations more than calcium propionate with clearly significant deferences ,and when used MIC the effect was too much higher than calcium propionate in decreesing the survival cells of Bcereus in cheese..Downloads
