Abstract:
Many Iraqi and non-academic researchers and writers, academics and non-academics, have addressed, in research, study, and evaluation, one of the most important historical events in the contemporary history of Iraq, namely the Iraqi-British treaty of 1922, which aims to regulate the form of the relationship with Iraq, in an effort to mitigate the financial effects of the mandate on the payers of the mandate. British taxes, something that prompted British newspapers to follow the terms of the treaty and began to open their pages wide to be a platform for discussing the causes, motives and results of that treaty.
