كما متعارف ان التجربة أكبر برهان،ولكون تجربة النهضة الاقتصادية في كوريا الجنوبية من أهم التجارب الناجحة في العالم النامي، حيث استطاعت النهوض بواقعها المتخلف إلى واقع متطور وفي فترة زمنية قصيرة نسبياً مما أطلق عليه بالمعجزة الاقتصادية على نهر الـ " هان "، والظروف التي كانت عليها كوريا قبل النهضة هي مشابهة بشكل كبير لظروف العراق، فعلى الرغم من العقود المظلمة التي مرت على العراق وما ترتب عليها من الدمار الذي لحق بالاقتصاد العراقي، إلاّ أن هنالك ما يبعث على التفاؤل القوي في تحقيق النهضة الاقتصادية، وينبع هذا التفاؤل من بين جملة أمور منها: الإمكانات الكبيرة ووجود قاعدة موارد طبيعية وبشرية ثرية تعطيه القدرة على إنجاز هذه النهضة، وكل ما يحتاجه هو توظيف تلك الإمكانات والموارد في ضوء وضع استراتيجيات وخطط تنموية طموحة، ووجود الجهات المسؤولة المخلصة القادرة على حشد وتعبئة الخطط والسياسات المناسبة لإنجاز الهدف الأسمى للاقتصاد العراقي وجعله بمصاف الاقتصادات حديثة التصنيع بعيداً عن خطر الاقتصاد الأحادي المتخلف .
