Publishers Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences is committed to ensuring that decisions are taken regarding the submission of research, its evaluation, arbitration, review, and publication in its final form based on the assessment of a professional scientific professional by professional persons who are members of the editorial board, away from personal interests.
  • Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences monitors the application of the principles of publishing ethics to the journal’s management and its organizational structure, not only by researchers and authors, but also by members of the editorial board, arbitrators, and even readers.

Editors Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The editors of Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences have full authority to reject or accept the research after careful scientific review and assign the matter to the members of the editorial board and those with precise specialization.

Arbitrators’ Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences adheres to COPE instructions regarding peer review and peer-review of the research it receives.
  • The arbitrators of the Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences must assist the members of the editorial board in making the decision to publish or reject the submitted research, and this is done in accordance with a very transparent policy.

Authors Duties and responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the rules of citation, documentation, and publishing ethics regarding authorship and contribution (COPE)

  • It is also the responsibility of the authors to ensure that research issued by a specific institution is submitted with the necessary approval of the institution and to attach a letter authorizing the researcher to write or research for that institution.
  • Adherence to the rules of citation, documentation, and publishing ethics regarding authorship and contribution (COPE).
  • The responsible author must sign a copy of the approval of all authors in the case of research by more than one researcher, before accepting the research for publication, in order to be legally responsible towards the journal’s ethics and privacy policy.
  • The researcher must refer to previous studies and research in the field in which he is writing if he has used those studies in his research.
  • Under an open access license, authors retain copyright ownership of their content, and anyone is allowed to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute and/or copy the content as long as the original authors and source are properly credited.
  • Pointing out the work of researchers that gave results similar to or different from the results reached by the researcher.
  • When the author(s) discover a major error or inaccuracy in his published work, it is the author’s duty to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher that the manuscript has been withdrawn or corrected.
  • Ensuring the originality of the research and that it meets professional standards for research ethics and avoiding all types of unethical research behavior such as plagiarism, fabrication, and forgery.
  • All authors must know that research submitted under review or published in the Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences is subject to examination using an anti-plagiarism program.
  • Presenting original research not previously published in any journal or conference proceedings.
  • All authors must ensure that all authors have read the final submission checklist before sending it to the Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences

Penalties :

In the event that there is scientific theft by one of the authors, and after confirming all the observations by the scientific arbitrator based on scientific evidence and conclusive proofs, and after the members of the editorial staff are informed of the text of those observations and proofs, the violating research will be immediately rejected, and the submission of other research by the violating researcher will be prohibited once again. Return to the journal, while adhering to all applicable laws regarding punishing plagiarists for a research without indicating the title of the original research.

Conflict of interest policy:

The concept of conflict of interest (COI) means that an individual's private interests differ from his or her responsibilities toward scientific activities and publishing, resulting in doubt as to whether the individual's behavior or judgment is driven by his or her competing interests and obligations.

A conflict of interest refers to the existence of any relationship between the authors, editors, or reviewers that interferes with the presentation, peer review, editorial decision-making, or publication of the scientific paper submitted to the Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences in Emergency Situations. Or could reasonably be seen as interfering with it.

A conflict of interest can arise from any beneficial relationship that the author, editor, or reviewer may have with the scientific paper. This relationship could be:

  • Financial or non-financial
  • Personal or professional
  • Individual or institutional (if it is, for example, a field note describing a program, approach, or tool from the author's institution).

Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences is committed to implementing the COPE recommendation regarding “Author’s Responsibilities - Conflicts of Interest” in author disputes in cases involving conflicts of interest. Authors must disclose, at the time of submission, information about official approvals, financial conflicts of interest, or other interests that may affect the article (scientific paper). Authors must also declare funding sources for the work performed.

All participants in the peer review and journal publication process must disclose all relationships that could be considered potential conflicts of interest. Editors may use information disclosed in conflict of interest and financial interest statements as a basis for editorial decisions.

Authors must identify individuals who contributed writing (scientific paper) or other assistance and disclose the funding source for this assistance. All authors must disclose in their manuscript any financial or other conflicts of interest that may be construed to influence the results or interpretation of this research. All sources of financial support for the project must also be disclosed.

To report a conflict of interest, the reviewer must contact the editor-in-chief via the journal's official mail to clearly state the conflict of interest, explain his relationship with the author, the manuscript, or both, and strongly request to be relieved from serving as a reviewer for this specific document.
