Abstract

In this article, we seek, through the descriptive-analytical approach, to focus on the poet’s colonial axis with the aim of revealing the image of colonialism and its crimes in the Arab world and its modern methods of hegemony over the Arab world through Arab rulers and Zionism and ways to solve and deal with it from the poet’s perspective. The article also seeks to reveal The most important rhetorical arts that the poet used to embody the image of colonialism; In short, the research attempts to answer the following question: How were the images of colonialism manifested in the poetry of Saqr Al-Shabib
