things in a person’s life is to understand the book Nahj al-Balagha, which can be a good solution for human life after the Holy Qur’an. Understanding Imam Ali (PBUH) sermons, messages and short words has a great impact on human life, which by thinking about them and applying them in practical life can have a very good practical impact on individual life and society of human beings. Today, there are many books of interpretation that have made it easier for people to understand this precious book, and scholars of interpretation have expanded in their books the meanings of Nahj al-Balaghah to man greatly. Since conceptual metaphors are closely related to the mind and the eye, they can be a good option for understanding religious texts such as Nahj al-Balagha. Because many of the concepts used in these texts are expressed mentally and have an allegorical meaning that can be explained, described and expressed in a tangible and sensory way. Therefore, in this article we intend to explain some of the sermons of Nahj al-Balaghah based on conceptual metaphors in a descriptive-analytical manner, and we have used in this regard the book “The Message of the Commander of the Faithful” by Ayatollah Makarim al-Shirazi.
