The research discusses the policy made by the United States of America towards Brazil during the period 1961-1964, that is the period of the government of the President of Brazil, João Goulart, known as "Django". This policy started when the United States of America saw President Goulart, who was socially moderate, as a person who could be dealt with or at least able to limit his influence on the interests of Chile, so they blessed him to rule and provided financial and economic aid to support his reform program.
