The issue of love is one of the issues that writers cared about a lot. Poets, writers, and fortune-tellers still cared about the reflection of love in their works, and gave many opinions about it, as they divided it into different sections. Love is divided into two parts in general: true love and metaphorical love. What is meant by true love is the love of God, the Exalted, that is, the duty of existence, and metaphorical love refers to what is other than God. This article seeks a comparative study of the content of love in my novel “Sindokht” by “Ali Muhammad Afghani” and “26 Days in the Life of Dastoevsky” by “Anna Dastaevskaya”. The article relies on the analytical descriptive approach, taking advantage of various books on this subject. In the beginning, we study the issue of love, its types, and its linguistic and idiomatic meanings, then we discuss what I wrote about love from the novels, and after that we read the two mentioned novels and extract what came in them about love and its divisions. with it. The results show that both novels paid attention to the metaphorical concept of love.
