Abstract

In this research, we obtained information that helped us to complete it and show it in a way that satisfies everyone, God willing, in addition to the manuscripts that we obtained from libraries and manuscript catalogs that helped us to know the places of writing these manuscripts and to know their scholars and their students. After we completed this research, we see the need for Considering carefully some of the important results of the research, which we concluded as follows: The seminary has been in Hilla since its scientific launch in the sixth century at the hands of Sheikh Muhammad bin Idris (543 AH / 1148 AD) (d. 598 AH / 1201 AD) (PBUH) and until its decline in the middle of the century The tenth Hijri was a center for scientific studies in the Islamic world, and the main reason for this scientific launch is due to the role of scholars and schools in the scientific renaissance of this city. The scholars of Hilla at the beginning of teaching depended on their houses, and it was not an obstacle in front of the scholars of Hilla, but rather the alternative to it was the houses of scholars These houses used to play the role of a school, so they became institutes of science attended by students of knowledge from inside and outside the city, and after the emergence of prosperity and scientific expansion that reached the peak in giving in the seventh and eighth century AH Al-Hillah became a large scientific center for all sciences, such as: lineage and literature as well as jurisprudence and its origins and other sciences.
