Especially Russia during the reign of Peter the Great and its permanent attempts to perpetuate its influence with the Sublime Porte, while the second topic touched on the Russian-Ottoman war 1768-1774, and the Treaty of Kochk Kinarji and the reasons for its convening and its effects on the Ottoman Empire, as it opened the door wide for Russia to impose more conditions and find a supporter. It was introduced to it within the Ottoman Empire, which later paved the way for more European interventions within the Ottoman Empire.
