Abstract

Grammarians and researchers in ancient and modern languages unanimously agree that the call is one of the most prominent compositional methods of request, as it is an instinctive phenomenon that is consistent with the demand of the human soul, and its container is the human mind. human ( ). This prompted them to study the topic of the call and its tools, and they were keen to know the means, methods and sounds of the call in human societies, within the language families, including the group of Semitic (Arab) languages. It is known that the Akkadian language is the oldest written Semitic language, as it is the rich linguistic mine, and the main pillar in the field of Semitic studies and comparative linguistics. Therefore, we found the necessity to study the call-to-call style in the Akkadian language, and to clarify the meanings of its tools, and the method of constructing the call-to-sentence, as well as its connotations and phonetic forms. Where I traced the methods of calling in the Akkadian language and its purposes, and the tools that were used for the call, as well as the call structures that carried the meaning of the call. It also adopted the inductive and analytical method in our study, and made use of linguistic dictionaries and studies of the Akkadian language and cuneiform writings. Benefiting from the comparative approach in studying the subject of the call within the Semitic ancestry, to show the common features and characteristics between the Akkadian language and its sisters of the same Semitic lineage.
