In light of the turbulent conditions witnessed by the Arab and Islamic geography in particular, and the global map in general, from the manifestations of protests - peaceful and violent - which reveal a defect in the mechanism of access to the regimes that resulted in the confiscation of rights and freedoms, the need arises to highlight the definition of the political and intellectual opposition, and follow Its historical path, and identifying the position of Islamic law and positive law from it. Language dictionaries and specialized scholars, as well as identifying its concept in the Qur’anic and jurisprudential perspective, while the second specialized in following up the political opposition of previous human societies by shedding light on dealing with it from rulers in previous historical eras. As for the third topic, it studied the general dimensions of political opposition, in While the fourth topic dealt with the legal and legal rooting of the opposition After that, we presented the most important results that the research produced and extracted, and then presented the most important sources that the researcher benefited from, and they were distributed among the sciences of the Holy Qur’an, politics, jurisprudence, language dictionaries, and history.
