A study of metaphor in the light of gnostic linguistics

Abstract

Gnostic sciences are a new field that combines many disciplines, including: computers, artificial intelligence, cognitive psychology, neuroscience... and other disciplines that study the mechanism of the human mind. The emergence of cognitive linguistics led to a remarkable development of the modern linguistic study, as the linguistic study moved Immanence to the context of its various kinds, so that research efforts have come together recently that see the language as capable of reflecting patterns of thinking, and its approaches have multiplied, including: epistemological calligraphy, metaphor, metaphor, etc., and given the growing interest in epistemological linguistics in the Arab world, which was embodied in the translation of special literature in the field of epistemology and the formation of Seminars and conferences on its topics, as well as the importance that this topic acquires because of its connection to the mind and language.
