Al-Aqida Journal and its position on international political issues (1948-1950)(a historical study)

Abstract

The research summarizes the position of the magazine “Al-Aqida” issued from Najaf Al-Ashraf during the period (1948-1950) regarding the international political developments that swept the world during the period of its publication, as that stage represented an important turning point in Arab and international state politics, such as the establishment of the Zionist entity and the Arab and international position on it, the confinement of colonialism and the achievement of most of the independence movements, especially the Asian ones. In addition to the emergence of organizations calling for global security and peace after World War II (1939-1945), such as the United Nations, all of these events were recorded in the pages of the magazine “Al-Aqida,” which motivated the researcher to uncover them through what the magazine published, especially since it was distinguished by its boldness in presenting its topics. Its issues, in addition to other sources, fed the content of the research.
