Abstract

Abbasi is considered the golden age of the Abbasid caliphate and Islamic civilization. Abdullah Ibn Tahir is one of the leading men of this golden age. During his father's life, Tahir, Abdullah entered the government ‎of Ma'mun and after the death of Tahir and Talha Ibn Tahir became the ruler of Khorasan. The most important results of Abdullah's actions are: 1. Suppression of Ma'mun Abbasi's enemies in Iraq, Syria and Egypt before he became the ruler of Khorasan. 2. Repelling the enemies of the Abbasid Caliphate, including the Alawites, Kharijites and non-Muslims of Tabarestan, during his rule over Khorasan. 3. Accompanying Abdullah Ibn Tahir with the micro and macro policies of the Abbasid Caliphate. 4. Promoting the religion of the Abbasid Caliphate, which caused the widespread tendency of the people of Greater Khorasan and Sistan to the Sunni religion. 5. Due to the favorable rule of Abdullah Ibn Tahir, the common political, economic and religious interests between the Taherians and the Abbasids in the eastern lands of the Caliphate were secured. 6.
