Abstract

One of the characteristics of social construction in Islam is that it is a devotional and educational approach, comprehensive, balanced and integrated. And because the family is the first nucleus in building society, and for every meeting it must be organized, and this organization must have values that govern it and limit its tyranny and transcendence. As long as family life is regular and happy, the community composed of these small community units is happy also. The building of the family in Islam begins with the formation of the first relationship between the two spouses, given that the marriage contract is the legal way to form a family, and therefore Islamic law made this contract a sacred bond that the Holy Qur’an described as the “heavy covenant”, because there were various marriages types of the society of the Arabian Peninsula before the Prophet’s mission, no one is bound by it nor is an officer seized, and at the coming of Islam he abolished all marriages that are not suitable for establishing a virtuous family or a cohesive society, and only one marriage was decided by the man to address the man to his daughter or his guardian. And gives her a friendship - or dowry - agreed upon between them, then marry her with a contract in which affirmative and acceptable, and desirable to be on the scene of people. The research dealt with the basics of this building according to the Islamic perspective in two topics, preceded by a prelude to introducing the concept of the family, and was followed by a conclusion that included its results
