Abstract

imprisoned in the Umayyad Period.  By reading examples ofThis study attempts to reveal the position their poems . Its was the new environment in which they put a great role in shaping their position regarding time and space  trying to get rid of the prison and its concerns  . Time highlights their condition and reality . And the place often reminds them of their past and their freedom.  They had a tragic sense of time and it movement . and a memory of longing and pain towards the place and its names .
