Spatial variation of bioclimatic regions in Najaf Governorate

Abstract

      The climatic characteristics of the factors affecting the variation in the distribution of the bioclimatic regions in the study area were studied through the application of three vital indicators, represented by the bioclimatic index, the Singer scheme and the Oligai bio scheme for four stations, including three agricultural stations (Abbasiya, Mashkhab and Shabja) as well as the Najaf epicenter and the duration of the study (2016-2019). A bioclimatic classification has been established for Najaf Gov               ernorate.

Our research included three sections, except for the theoretical evidence for the study. The first topic included the characteristics of the climate in the Najaf Governorate. The second topic included the application of the bioclimatic index and the Singer and Ulekai biographs to find out the spatial variation of the bioclimatic regions in the study area.
