Abstract

Poetry and music have a strong and inseparable relationship that is recognized by the general public for culture and art, especially people of literature and music. And because poetry is actually the music of words and phrases, the richness and music of songs and melodies, and thus is one of the important issues that have long been considered by critics and analysts in the study of poets' poetry. Ibn Haddad al-Andalus, one of the prominent poets of the Andalusian era, who in his time was able to be a poet of eulogy for Mu'tasim ibn Samadh, like many other poets, was not ignorant of the important aspect of music and was able to inspire better concepts by composing a poetic atmosphere. Therefore, to study and analyze its poetic structure, this article relies on the descriptive-analytical approach to study the music of poetry at the levels of external, lateral, and internal (verbal) music. In this regard, he first defines the music, then the types of music are examined and analyzed by bringing a sample of poetry from his Divan. One of the achievements of this research is the musical atmosphere of his poems and the appropriate selection of any type of music elements such as sea, rhyme and repetition.
