Abstract

Through the foregoing, it is clear to us that this Arab world provided a lot of treatments in medical matters, which he was able to extract from plants, which made him outperform his peers in healing patients, as evidenced by his assignment to treat sultans and princes, and his supervision of doctors, and by looking at his scientific contributions in Treating patients vegetatively. Through this study, we reached several results, the most prominent of which were: 1. Botany gained the attention of the Arab Muslims to the extent that they surpassed the West, especially in the Middle Ages, and they reached many therapeutic discoveries. 2. Rashid al-Din al-Suri is considered one of the encyclopedic scholars, as he is a physician, chemist, pharmacist, and herbalist at the same time. 3. Botany was given great care by Al-Suri, and he excelled in it to the extent that he surpassed his peers among scientists.
