Abstract

.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a self-regulation scale was constructed consisting of 32 items with five alternatives for measurement according to the Likert method, in which there is validity through evaluation by a committee of specialized arbitrators, and reliability by Cronbach's alpha method, and its value was (0.874).

The results showed the presence of self-regulation in the sample of students in general, and the absence of statistically significant differences between male and female students, and the inability of the variable of self-regulation to predict academic achievement, and there is no correlation between self-regulation and the achievement average of students; The study concluded with a number of conclusions and recommendations.
