Abstract

The research of publishing maps on the Internet and using GIS is one of the researches that deals with one of the most important and latest technology topics, because communication between different beneficiaries from different regions of the world has a strong presence at the present time due to the revolution of the emergence of social networking programs, which drives us as specialists in maps and its programs to Attend strongly in the midst of this revolution by placing our data at each other's fingertips and creating live interactive maps that everyone can access.

The research summarized the religious and historical importance of the cities of Najaf and Kufa, and what this reflects on religious tourism in the country, and it showed the shrines, their locations, and brief information about each of them.
