Abstract

Through this study, we aim to reveal the representations of the city's space in the collection of the Algerian poet Mounira Saada Khalkhal, which is marked by (to the wind the tree said), trying from behind that to answer a question that we have always had while reading the poetess, which is more poetic achieved by the text as a format or the experience as a practice.

This is no longer a city

horizontally or orbitally

We must establish in order to see it

And we see that we see it

Because it's still a fetus

language still buried

With this Al-Adnisi opening, which bears the vision of its owner for the city, we decided to start our hasty reading, recalling our firm belief in Russell's saying in which he says, "Reading is often equivalent to loss." And we ask, what kind of loss is this? Lost for the sake of losing? Or is it lost in order to get the text out “from its stillness to a more attractive dynamic” [i]?
