The rooting of diligence in concept and terminology

Abstract

Ijtihad is a human industry, not divine. It was characterized by methodological and constructive pluralism within a single school or a single sect. However, this plurality did not prevent the jurists from trying to control the diligent approach with scientific controls and objective criteria, which in turn differed according to the divergence of views adopted by each group, as their opinions formed directives. Epistemologically, I determined how they dealt with the topic of ijtihad, which represents a point of convergence and divergence at the same time, and represents the foundations and pillars on which it is based. Accordingly, ijtihad passed through historical and epistemological roles. Research and brief presentation.
