Abstract

This study dealt with "the political conditions of Yemen in the Islamic era through the book "Dictionary of Countries" by Yaqut Al-Hamawi (T: 626 AH / 1228 AD)" the case of Yemen from two main axes. Apostasy, after Islam spread in the Arabian Peninsula, Yemen was one of the regions that the Prophet’s call reached (7), as he sent to it someone calling its people to Islam, and there were several campaigns that went to Yemen with the intention of liberating it and inviting its people to Islam, so they accepted Islam.
