Abstract

This research aims to reveal the noise pollution, its causes and types, and the psychological and social pressures that the Iraqi individual is exposed to, taking into account the influencing cultural factors.
Because of the lack of modern devices for measuring the intensity of noise, so the researcher relied on the questionnaire method to determine the severity of the impact of noise pollution on the citizen within the Iraqi environment, where a special form was designed for the questionnaire and a field survey was conducted for a sample of civil society segments from the people of Najaf Governorate at different age levels and Living and spatial The questionnaire included 400 randomly selected students, associates and professors of the College of Engineering / University of Kufa.
