Geographical analysis of the reality of drought and climatic water deficit and the proposed possibilities to address them (an applied study on Najaf governorate)

Abstract

Geographers are interested in a number of important and strategic issues related to human life and its various activities, especially those problems that have bad negative effects on the human environment (water, soil, air, etc.), and thus the geographer is the same as the hydrological, biological, agricultural, economic, etc. It is concerned with the vital fields that affect the economic life of man and his environment.
The problems of drought and climatic water deficit are among the most important problems that most arid and semi-arid regions of the world suffer from, including Iraq.
