عباد بن الحصين الحبطيAbstract
Abbad Ibn Al-Hussein excelled as a fighting knight, commander of the Basra Army Knights, and a participant in the eastern conquests, yet he was not an important subject for historians. The historical accounts of him were very brief. The sources did not mention - for example - the names of his wives next to his own, but his name was mentioned as one of several husbands of two synonyms.
And like any personality from the field commanders of one of the army divisions, who are so numerous that most of their features are lost, and the name remained abstract at times, this was a strong motive for studying this personality, in an attempt to highlight his participation and military tasks, and his position on the Umayyad authority.
