Abstract

Bahaa Taher is considered one of the pioneers of short stories in the Arab world, and his novels had a realistic approach. In our current article, we seek through the descriptive analytical approach to show the most prominent features of realism in his collection of stories "I went to the waterfall". And the statement of political, social and critical trends, and the manifestation of the personality of the novelist himself, and the statement of the role and importance of the media and talk about the most prominent historical events
