Abstract

The general budget of the Iraqi state is an important means for the people to monitor their government's plans to regulate expenditures and imports, as it reflects the economic, political and social situation of the country, and through it it is possible to identify the importance that the authority attaches to its joints and public facilities, and the amount of its interference in economic activity, as it occupies a great importance in the life of Society, in its various aspects, and this importance is not limited to the economic aspect of the country only, but also to the political and social aspects as well, as it is considered the financial plan of the state, through which the economic aspect of the country is determined, as well as its impact on the lives and well-being of individuals and their social level, and therefore the main objective of the research It is the study of the general budget of the Iraqi state during the Republican era, and the changes that occurred to the philosophy and goals of the revolution, which tried to move Iraqi society from a state of underdevelopment to achieving comprehensive development in various fields. To formulate a financial and economic policy for the country in accordance with the requirements of the stage.
