Syntactic level in Quranic supplication

Abstract

The Quranic supplication is characterized by its artistic expression, solemn style, and precise wording. This article aimed a stylistic study of the synthetic level in the Quranic supplication, which plays an important role in the structure of supplication and its synthetic components, using the descriptive analytical method. The supplication and the diversity of its formulas such as the command, the prohibition, and the interrogative. The choice of words and sentences was not a coincidental matter, but rather it was characterized by accuracy and the power of influence on the recipient, and that the artistic consistency appeared between the sentences and their meanings clearly.
