Abstract

The current research aims to determine the impact between remote management practices with their dimensions represented by (effectiveness of remote communication, remote performance evaluation, remote capabilities investment) on job independence with its dimensions represented by (independence in decision making, independence of work schedule, independence of work style), The research was applied to employees of branches of the National Bank of Iraq, and based on a realistic, influential and growing problem in the field of banking, the research problem was diagnosed with several questions, the most important of which is knowing what is the impact of remote management practices on job independence. The study population consisted of (385) employees. While the target community consisted of (173) employees, a questionnaire form was distributed electronically to the target community represented by working individuals who are managed remotely in the National Bank of Iraq. The number of valid questionnaires retrieved after sorting and auditing the data was (139) valid questionnaires for analysis, that is, an average of ( 80%) were analyzed according to the structural equation modeling method - the least squares method and descriptive statistical methods based on the Spss program and the SmartPLS program. The current research reached several results, the most important of which was that remote management practices were able to influence the dependent variable, job independence. Remote performance has an impact on the job independence of working individuals through the use of a method of monitoring progress in performance and the percentage of task completion regardless of the methods of completing them. It has also been concluded that managing employment remotely can affect job independence because it provides opportunities to invest in the capabilities and skills of the workforce and ensure that they benefit from it. Including them, and giving them opportunities and powers to perform their work regardless of their whereabouts.
