Digital transformation and its impact on human resources flexibility (an exploratory study of a sample of employees at the General Company for Gas Filling and Services, Basra Branch)

Digital transformation represents an important variable through which active companies seek to face challenges and rapid changes in the business environment, increase their effectiveness and keep pace with change for their survival and increase their activities and productivity. The main idea in this research is to try to test digital transformation and its impact on the flexibility of human resources in the General Company for Gas Filling and Services, Basra Branch It consisted of (52) workers who were chosen randomly, and to achieve this purpose the company needs flexibility in its human resources to enjoy high professionalism to carry out its basic duties and tasks. The researcher used the questionnaire for the purpose of reaching the purpose of the research by developing and formulating a model consisting of two main variables and a main hypothesis, and relying on the exploratory analytical approach. All models were subjected to statistical analysis using the statistical program (SPSS.V.23). The research reached a set of results that indicate that there is a positive role for digital transformation in the resilience of human resources, and that this effect will be better when there is an empowerment of its human energy to reach the desired goal. The research reached a set of conclusions, including the existence of an impact relationship between (digital transformation and human resource resilience), and based on the results of the research, a set of recommendations was formulated that the company in question could benefit from.
