Abstract

This study aims to explore the effective impact of strategic mindfulness on enhancing creative thinking practices and how to use it as a tool to address administrative challenges within organizations, with a particular focus on the Ministry of Finance, as the central hub for all state institutions. This is achieved through an analysis of the ministry's reality and its crisis management methods.

The research problem lies in the fact that the issue of strategic mindfulness is a subject of scientific research that has not been adequately studied by many local and international theorists and researchers. This prompted the researchers to explore this issue in this study, to understand its concept and dimensions, and how organizations can benefit from it. The research adopted a descriptive-inferential approach, in addition to using a set of statistical methods to analyze the data, such as conducting validity tests using factor analysis and reliability tests using Cronbach's Alpha.

The research sample consisted of individuals working in the Iraqi Ministry of Finance at the leadership level, including senior and middle levels within the ministry. The researchers distributed (60) questionnaires.

The results of this research are expected to contribute to enhancing a deeper understanding of strategic thinking as an innovative management tool and promoting creative thinking within the organization. They will also contribute to providing practical recommendations that can benefit decision-makers in the Ministry of Finance and other government institutions in improving their performance and developing their capabilities to effectively and efficiently meet future challenges.
