Abstract

This research aims to analyze and demonstrate the potential of renewable energy in the European Union and the United States by examining and understanding the public policies and strategic directions these countries have adopted and committed to in their transition towards renewable energy sources. The research addresses the development of technologies used, the scale of investments, and the role of the public and private sectors in supporting renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar, wind, and bioenergy. It also reviews different models for adopting renewable energy and compares them in terms of efficiency, sustainability, scalability, and challenges. The research provides an analytical framework that helps understand the variations in performance and approaches based on available resources, and promotes critical thinking about the future of renewable energy in advanced economic contexts.
