Abstract

The issue of foreign trade is one of the important issues that show the vitality of the state and the extent of its influence on the external level. The strength of commercial activity results from the strength, stability and cohesion of the state on the internal level, which ultimately leads to imposing its will and doctrinal and economic dominance on its relations with other countries.

This requires building a military force that protects commercial activities and relations, whether political or commercial, as well as spreading its intellectual and ideological orientations through the arrival of its merchants to those countries, competing with their opponents in the commercial markets.

Egypt has flourished under the Fatimid caliphate throughout the years (358-567 AH / 969-1171 AD) in various political, economic and social levels in a way that the country has not seen since ages ago.
