Abstract

The researcher aims, through his practical procedures, to identify the gratifications and motives of the students of the finished grades - the sixth preparatory school in particular - through exposure to the Iraqi educational satellite channel and investigating the reasons for following it and the reluctance to watch its educational lessons, as well as the real needs that students are looking for through the channel screen. On the other hand, a number of students of the final stages acknowledged that the Iraqi educational channel satisfies their desires and meets their needs in terms of providing all lessons and covering the entire prescribed curriculum in an easy way through teachers known for their experience and competence, and it also allows communication with them in different ways.
