This study deals with the details of the fall of one of the most important Islamic cities in Andalusia in the hands of the Christians, which is the city of Toledo, the base of the middle gap in Andalusia. It dealt with introducing the geography of Toledo and the importance of its strategic location, while giving a brief overview of the city’s history from the Islamic conquest until the collapse of the Umayyad Caliphate in Andalusia, and the establishment of the Kingdom of Bani Dhi Nun there. The study focused on tracing the emergence and development of the relationship that linked the rulers of the Dhununis dynasty with the Castilian King Alfonso VI, highlighting how the city was besieged and fell, and the position of the kings of the sects on that.
