Abstract

The research focuses on the analysis of public debt (internal-external) in lraq because it is one of the sources of financing the deficit that occurs in the public budget for the state, which in turn affects the lraqi

economy .

And that the lraqi economy has a general budget deficit as a result of the increase in public expenditures on the one hand and the decrease in public revenues on the other hand, this deficit is covered by the state borrowing whether it is an internal debt .

As a result of the lraqi economy being exposed to a significant drop in oil prices and a lack of dependence on non-oil revenues, it also exposed him to the war against terrorism that exploited large governorates and increased military expenditures in it ,and exposed him to the Covid-19 pandemic which led to an increase in public expenditures in the health aspect in it and which led to this pandemic stopping the global the local economy in particular
