Abstract

The economic and investment feasibility study is one of the important topics, whether at the level of the economic unit or at the level of the national economy. Generally, it depends on the success of investment projects. This study aims to find an alternative to diesel generators (private) to equip the residents of Al-Ghadeer village with electric energy and it works alternately with the national supply of electricity, and this alternative (solar systems) has a good environmental impact, unlike the private generators that have a negative environmental impact. Commercial criteria (discounted and non-discounted) were used as well as sensitivity analysis, where the final results were acceptable, meaning that the project is economically feasible. Therefore, investors are advised to invest in the field of alternative energy (solar energy).
