Organizational integrity and its role in achieving job embeddedness: An analytical study of the opinions of a sample of faculty members in private universities in the city of Sulaymaniyah

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the relationship and the effect between organizational integrity with its dimensions (integrity, optimism, forgiveness, trust ) with job embeddedness, represented by (organizational fit, organizational link, organizational sacrifice) in a number of private universities in Sulaymaniyah, namely, (6) universities. After reviewing a set of studies and literature, theoretical concepts were written, model building, and hypotheses based on the dimensions of organizational virtuousness and job embeddedness.

In order to collect data, a questionnaire was relied on, and (120) questionnaires were distributed directly and electronically through (Google Form) to all members of society represented by the teaching staff in private universities in the city of Sulaymaniyah, whose number amounted to (168 ) teachers in all private universities according to the university data while conducting the research. After sorting the received forms directly and checking them, the number of questionnaires valid for analysis reached (62) in addition to (47) questionnaires electronically, bringing the total number of forms valid for statistical analysis to (109). Several statistical methods were used, including arbitrators and Cronbach's alpha to verify validity and reliability, factor analysis, simplified correlation and structural equation modeling using (SPSS-26) and (AMOS-24). The results showed a positive correlation and impact between the research variables and its dimensions. Based on the results of the research, a number of recommendations were made related to the need for departments, leaders and supervisors to focus on adopting them in order to remove organizational virtuosness in order to achieve job embeddedness for the researched universities.
