The research aims to shed light on cloud computing technology and the security of accounting information systems and to show the effect of cloud computing technology in enhancing the security of accounting information systems. Prepared and distributed to a sample of academics in the field of financial accounting and information technology systems and professionals with knowledge and experience of them and those interested in information technology and digital aspects, collecting and analyzing data using the SPSS program in order to test the validity of the research hypotheses. The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: There is a statistically significant effect of the independent variable cloud computing in enhancing the security of accounting information systems. .
A set of recommendations have been developed, the most important of which are: the importance of continuing in the field of research with cloud computing technology because of its great importance in the fields of accounting information systems and its effectiveness. And the Internet and other web services, and directing the attention of officials and those concerned with the accounting affairs to the importance of issuing accounting and auditing standards in the field of accounting information systems services, similar to the standards of developed countries in this vital and important field.
