Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between organizational cronyism and employee thriving in the workplace, specifically within the context of Imam Al-Sajjad Hospital. A descriptive analysis method was employed on data collected from a sample of 287 employees using a questionnaire designed to accurately measure the targeted variables without bias or ambiguity, relying on previously validated scales. Subsequently, statistical analysis was conducted using a set of tests in SmartPLS v.4 and SPSS v.24. The results revealed a negative impact of organizational cronyism on employee thriving. These findings highlight the importance of creating a work environment that mitigates the negative effects of organizational cronyism and promotes employee thriving in the workplace. Consequently, researchers and practitioners interested in these variables are encouraged to conduct further studies and research in various Iraqi organizations or organizations in other countries.
