Abstract

The current research aimed to explore the reflection of organizational DNA in achieving organizational identification in the colleges of Nawroz University. To achieve the desired results from the study, The literature on the topic, which addressed the research variables, was relied upon to construct theoretical and methodological frameworks. A sample of 68 faculty members from Nawroz University in Duhok Governorate was selected, and their opinions were surveyed using a questionnaire prepared for this purpose. The analysis and testing of the research hypotheses were conducted using the statistical software (SPSS V. 27), and several statistical indicators were relied upon, which formed the basis for presenting and discussing the results of the field framework. The study concluded with a set of findings, including the existence of significant positive correlations with statistical significance between organizational DNA and organizational identification at both the overall level and at the level of its dimensions. Additionally, the individual and combined dimensions of organizational DNA significantly affect organizational identification. Finally, a set of recommendations was proposed, focusing on the need for the researched university to reconsider its approach to the mechanisms of interactions between the faculty members and the university. These interactions should be based on sound exchange frameworks that allow for the establishment of strong social and organizational bonds, thereby enhancing levels of positive organizational outcomes such as satisfaction, inclusion, commitment, loyalty, and affiliation towards the university. This would contribute to enhancing their motivation and activity in performing their assigned tasks with skill, dedication, and commitment, which in turn contributes to the formation, development, and consolidation of identification between both parties.
