The primary objective of the study was to examine the role of humble leadership, represented by its dimensions (self-awareness, appreciation of others, and learnability), on organizational happiness, represented by its dimensions (positive emotional impact, reducing negative emotional impact, achievement, and job satisfaction). (3) government hospitals in the Zakho Autonomous Administration were selected as the field of study, and the nursing staff in these hospitals were selected as the study population. A hypothetical model was constructed to reflect the relationship between the study variables. A descriptive analytical approach was used to collect and analyze data to arrive at the results. This was achieved by relying on a questionnaire distributed to a sample of (174) nursing staff. The data were analyzed and hypotheses tested using a number of appropriate statistical methods available in statistical programming (SPSS V.26). The results showed high levels of humble leadership practiced by administrative leaders in the surveyed hospitals, as well as high levels of organizational happiness among nursing staff in these hospitals. The results also revealed a significant direct correlation between humble leadership and organizational happiness, as well as a significant positive impact of humble leadership on organizational happiness at the whole and dimension levels. Based on the findings, a number of suggestions were presented to enhance humble leadership practice and organizational happiness in the surveyed hospitals, as well as suggestions for future studies.
