This research aims to clarify the role of the leader’s behavioral repertoire in reducing strategic deception, as one of the modern leadership approaches that rely on behavioral diversity and flexibility in addressing organizational challenges. The study was conducted in the Office of the Governor of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf and adopted the descriptive–analytical approach, using a questionnaire as the data collection tool for a sample of (199) employees. To analyze the data, several statistical methods were employed through the SPSS program, including Pearson correlation, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The study concluded that the most important finding is the presence of a statistically significant inverse correlation between the leader’s behavioral repertoire and strategic deception. It also revealed a significant effect of the behavioral dimensions collectively in reducing deceptive practices, indicating that the diversity of the leader’s behavioral patterns effectively contributes to limiting misleading information within the organization. The most important recommendation emphasized the need to enhance leaders’ behavioral diversity and develop training programs based on transparency, innovation, and effective communication as essential tools for reducing strategic deception and strengthening organizational trust.
